The Capital Area Chapter did not hold a business
meeting in December but rather held its annual Holiday Party at UR Cooks in
north Austin on Research Blvd. Over
70 people attended the party and about 25 of those took home one of the very
nice door prizes. The following
companies donated money or door prizes to sponsor the party: Miller Blue Print;
Metcalfe and Sanders; Interstate Surveying; Capital Surveying; Loomis Austin;
Chapparal Surveying; Inland Civil Associates; Easy Drive; Sanborn Mapping;
Cunningham-Allen; Delta Survey Group; Western Data Systems; Landesign Services.
We
also collected gifts at the party for needy children in the Austin area.
