MINUTES: EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
June Executive Committee Minutes:
The Executive Committee meeting was held Wednesday, June 8, 2006, at Las Palomas Restaurant with eight TSPS members present.
Executive Committee Members attending were:
Joe D. Webber, Jr., President
David A. McDow, Secretary-Treasurer
P. Gregory Schmidt, Director
John D. Barnard, Director
James Redman, Director
Also present were Paul Easley, Past President, Bob Hysmith and James Mason.
Chris M. Solomon, Vice-President and Charles G. Walker, Director, were unable to
attend.
Joe Webber called the meeting to order at 11:40 a.m.
Joe Webber started the discussion for a date when Chapter 13 could make up the picnic that was rained out in April. The consensus was that this year's picnic was lost due to the upcoming schedule of events each month.
Joe Webber asked for suggestions of items that Chapter 13 could donate for the Ray Wisdom picnic scheduled for June 10. Some items include a wine basket, binoculars, and a handheld GPS unit. Ultimately, binoculars and a wine basket were decided on.
Joe Webber re-announced the joint meeting at Retama Park in San Antonio.
Greg Schmidt made a motion allocate $200 for drinks for the Ray Wisdom picnic to be held June 10, 2006, seconded by John Barnard and a vote by voice carried the motion.
Meeting was adjourned at 12:40 p.m.
